Aloha Friday

One of my new favorite bloggers hosts “Aloha Friday“, where we post a question and ask our faithful readres to answer and discuss in our comments!!!! :-) Here is my question for the week…
“What is the dish you look forward to every year during the holidays?”
I don’t know if I could name just one…but I think my favorite has to be pumpkin roll! My sister started making this a few years ago, and now we have to have it at every get-together between Thanksgiving and Christmas (and any other day we can sneak in!).

I have to say Green bean cassarole. It is made only at this time of year by my family, and my husband don’t like it so I can’t make it during the year so I wait til now and get it free! LOL

My husband’s grandmother’s candied yams. They are just perfect, not too sweet, they have just the right amount of allspice. And they are yummy!

I love the sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, but I’m the only one that likes them so we probably won’t have them.

I love ham, mashed potatoes and stuffing but I suppose my favorite would be all the holiday cookies and such.

My sil makes a pumpkin roll every year, too. I don’t even like pumpkin and I like it!
